When children are out on Country they become familiar with nature's textures, tones and colours. This awareness becomes more promident through the changes of the seasons where plants and trees become dormant, bare, regenerated, flower and bear edibles.

As a way to extend chldren learning about changes whilst on Country the use of vision cards provided opportunity for every child to look closer within their surrounding enviornment, Simply ilustrations are used to prompt curioiusity in order to engage with a wide variety of natural loose parts which can be sourced if lookinig all around.

Invite the children to help design the cards based on their prior knowledge or use your role as an educator do your own investigation on natural loose parts found when you take the children on Country.

"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit." — Ralph Waldo Emerson
