The new year brings new beginning which for me means relocating to the Southern Highlands in NSW, Australia. Presently my career of thirteen years as an Early Childhood educator is temporarily on hold as I transition from living on the coast in Sydney to a country lifestyle, which excitingly involves a studio. For many moons I've dreamed of having a creative space where I can escape the outside world and get lost in my own creativity, imagination and sense of peace.
This website has been created as I felt it was important to share my passion for art, community and nature, along with some storytelling and other interest worth stopping to pause. My facebook page 'The Nature of Creativity' has nearly 4K followers which is kind of cool but I believe my experiences, lessons and desire to connect with like minded people have a much wider audience. To achieve an amazing blog connected to a website will take some effort on my part but I foresee which will in time rewards as all as the site gains momentum to inspire others around the world.
I believe in what I do will continue to benefit others and brings richness to their understandings of pedagogy through theory and practice. We should never stop learning and if can change. I'm not sure what pathways this blog will take me on but if the foundations are based around creativity and art then my journey has already started.
